11th November 2013: Anarkik3D’s haptic 3D modelling product WINS a 3DPrintShow Global Award in the ‘Best Consumer Software’ category. Thank you, thank you to all our supporters as this award was on the votes of the public, not the panel.
What a thrill it was on the night of the 7th Nov, and a pleasure, to go up and receive the 3D printed award from Kerry Hogarth, the amazing woman behind the 3DPrintShows! It was a brilliant evening and the other awards were well deserved, especially the one that went to Mcor.
Update on '3D Consequences’: we exhibited 8 of the 3D printed models on our 3DPrintShow stand, 7-9 Nov, London.
2nd November 2013: Anarkik3D’s haptic 3D modelling product is nominated for a 3D PrintShow Global Award in the ‘Best Consumer Software’ category. This award is voted for by the public so we hope we have lots of votes (voting has ended). We will know at the Award event on 7th November who gets the award. It should be Anarkik3D because to 3D print you need a 3D model! So you need 3D modelling software like ours as anyone from 5 upwards can use it.
Our Crowdfunding campaign ended unsuccessfully on 16th October 2013. But we have made great contacts and put Plan B into operation. Plan C is being introduced at the 3DPrintShow in London.
16th October: 8 models have been received courtesy of SCULPTEO and we are very pleased with both the quality of the models and with their service.
Anarkik3D's CEO took a selection to the Battle of Ideas Conference (19th/20th October, Barbican in London) and to show at her presentation on 23rd October (13:30 to 17:00) at the 3D Printing Event in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
11th October 2013: We are delighted that Sculpteo are sponsoring this project and are 3D printing 8 of the models so that we can show them at the 3DPrintShow in London in November. The intention is to also phorograph them and include the images in presentations at The Battle of Ideas Conderence (Barbican in Lobdon, 19th/20th Oc
tober) and at the 3D Printing Event (Eindhoven, presentation on 23rd October). Watch this space too.

30th April 2013: The iMakr Store Grand Opening
iMakr in London's Clerkenwell Road (no. 79 to be precise) had its Grand Opening spread over two days, such was the interest in attending this hot event - hot because the iMakr Store is billed as the largest shop in the world selling personal and desktop 3D printers, scanners and 3D printed goodies such as filament and objects from an as yet small group of designers.
Anarkik3D's CEO, Ann Marie Shillito, attended and had the privilege of being featured in the 'opening introductions', when the screens covering the windows were dropped and the founder and CEO of iMakr, Sylvain Preumont, introduced Adrian Bowyer of 'RepRap founder' fame, Sam Cervantes (CEO of US based Solidoodle) and Ann Marie to the large group waiting outside for the doors to open. Later Sylvain handed the microphone to Ann Marie to introduce and describe Anarkik3D's haptic 3D modelling software and the Falcon haptic device which were being demo-ed in the downstairs area of the shop.
Anarkik 3D Design package is now set up at iMakr so you can try haptics and Anarkik3D's modelling software. Ask for Artur Pojo as Ann Marie gave him a brief tutoring session on the 30th and 1st May and he will be using the software between other tasks such as demo-ing the range of 3D printers stocked by the store.
iMakr is well worth visiting to both see, get advice and purchase a personal 3D Printer. As the store gets going and settled in there will be plenty more on offer, such as 3D necessities, workshops and courses.

Oct 2012: 3DPrintShow in London to Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Anarkik3D continued hands-on demos of Cloud9, haptic 3D modelling software as haptics (virtual 3D touch) just has to be experienced to grasp how it makes working and modelling in 3D so much more intuitive. Great entry point to 3D printing. To 3D print you need a 3D model and Cloud9 enables non-CAD users to create models!
The special 3DPrintShow offer for a voucher to redeem against the Cloud9/Falcon bundle ends on November 7th 2012. The voucher is received when one of our courses is booked. Contact Anarkik3D for more information,
